Q. The Library catalog inidcates that we have electronic access to a book but when I follow the link I get the message that the Library does not have access to it
The book is a part of our Demand Driven Acquisition program. Publishers in that program frequently list their materials only for a limited period of time, then pull the materials from the collection. While the Library updates its holdings every month, the updates from the publisher often lag 3 - 6 months or more behind, esp. in terms of materials being removed from the collection. The best way to get this material is to submit a request through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) for a printed, physical copy. ILL can be accessed at https://illiad.aum.edu .
