I found a book title at Auburn University that I'd like to request. How can I do that?

Answer

To request a book from one of Auburn University's Libraries, please take the following steps:

     1.)  Go here:  http://aum.lib.auburn.edu/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?PAGE=dbPage
2.)  Next to ALLIES Libraries, select 'Auburn University Library.'
     3.)  Click 'Connect.'
4.)  Type in your book's title (minus any beginning A, An, or The).
5.)  Select the 'TITLE' option and click 'Search.'
6.)  From the results list, click on your book's title.
7.)  Once the book's record displays, click the 'Request' button
(located in the blue bar at the top of the page).
8.)  Enter your patron barcode (20+your S-number+0) and last name.
9.)  Click 'Login' and then 'Ok' on the resulting page.
10.)  On the request form, re-enter your patron barcode.
    11.)  Click 'Submit Request.'

Upon completing these steps, you should see a message about a successful request and a prompt to please log-out of your patron information.

You'll be notified through your AUM e-mail that your item is ready for pick-up at the AUM Library's Circulation Desk on the Library's 1st Floor.  The process usually takes a couple of days.
