Why can't I access PrepSTEP?

Answer

A frequent access issue is enrollment status.  Only *currently* enrolled students, those taking class during the current semester, are allowed to access the library's databases remotely.

If you are currently taking classes at AUM, make sure you are accessing PrepSTEP by going through the Library's website.  You'll find the link here.  If you are off-campus, you'll be prompted to log in through myAUM.

Note: This database does require the user to create one's own account (to keep track of your progress through the testing materials), but registration is free.  Your username will be your e-mail address, but you'll need to create your own password.

If you later forget your PrepSTEP password, you can simply reset it.  Click the “Sign In/Register” link at the top of the PrepSTEP page, and then select the "Forgot Password?" link shown below the Sign In boxes.
