What Happens If I Have Overdue Materials?

If materials are returned late, students, community users, Friends of the Library and Continuing Education users are responsible for overdue fines. If materials are lost, all including Faculty & Staff users are responsible for replacement costs and processing fees.
Overdue fines accrue as follows:
- Books - $.25 per day, per item. Maximum of $25.00 per item. 4 day grace period.
- Video/Audio - $.25 per day, per item. Maximum $25.00 per item. No grace period.
- Recalled - $.50 per day, per item for recalled items. Maximum $25.00 per item. 7-day grace period after item is recalled.
- Reserve (7-day and 2-day) - $1.00 per day, per item. Maximum $25.00 per item. No grace period.
- Reserve (1-hour, 2-hour, and 10-hour) - $.25 per hour. Maximum $25.00 per item. No grace period.
